"When you put them on the Hunt Club bedding, they lie down and, they stay down. They’re comfortable and they rest for longer periods of time. We are pleased with all the results from this bedding, and count on Hunt Club to be a crucial part of their return.”

Hunt Club® Compost System
|
Hunt Club remains committed to manufacture and distribute
innovative quality bedding products that improve the health and
safety of animals and barn labor alike. To that end, we
continually strive to provide a bedding product that is
environmentally sound and offer end-users a cost effective waste
removal option.
Hunt Club corrugated bedding composts 50%
faster than either straw or wood shavings. With Hunt Club, when
mucking a stall less bedding is removed. Stall stripouts are
reduced and resulting muckpiles are held to a minimum.
People and horses are increasingly in competition for the land.
The waste (bedding/muck) of 1,000 horses equals the waste of
400,000 people! The EPA/USDA and various state and county
governments are moving to pressure farms, tracks, and training
centers to develop on-site options for muck decomposition. Hunt
Club can assist with this effort!!!

more about how Hunt Club can assist with your bedding removal
options.

5/10/00: Hunt Club announces that testing results performed by Wood End Research Laboratory of Mt. Vernon, ME show Hunt Club corrugated bedding produces similar basic compost properties of moister, organic matter, C:N ratio, and pH when compared to straw. Research analyst Eric Evans reported "that one major difference with Hunt Club is its higher ammonia level. Higher ammonia levels are advantageous in any composting operation". |
