"I like the cushion the bedding provides, and even when the cardboard is saturated with urine, it doesn't have that nasty ammonia smell. I have a mare that stall walks on all cardboard, and the cardboard stays in place so she is getting the added cushion now. I have a feeling when the farrier comes in a few weeks he will like the condition of the horse's hooves. I know the wood chips dry out their feet.
